RightFax Enterprise Fax

RightFax is the world leader in enterprise-wide e-document delivery solutions. Bringing together fax, email and Internet technologies, RightFax fax server software gives companies, large and small, a fast, efficient way to send and receive documents electronically from desktop, email, CRM, ERP and other business applications. Its functionality includes:

RightFax Logo
  • Integrated Windows Security: Can be set so that only the specified user or a user who knows the account password may access the fax in-box.

  • Windows 2000 Server certification.
  • Active Directory synchronization.
  • Support for Microsoft Windows XP and Office XP
  • Built-in E-mail Gateway: Supports all SMTP Internet mail systems, Lotus cc:Mail, Microsoft Mail and Novell GroupWise, allowing faxes to be sent and received from these popular e-mail applications. Benefit from advanced e-mail integration with Microsoft Exchange and Lotus Notes by purchasing add-on modules that maximize this functionality.
  • Automatic Fax Distribution: Faxes can be systematically distributed to groups of users for faster, more efficient processing. You can set distribution to “Linear” (round-robin distribution) or “Balanced” (distribution according to user processing rates).
  • Adjustable Bandwidth Controls: Allows administrators to control fax traffic volume on a group-wide basis by restricting the number of pages or total number of faxes being sent simultaneously by a user within a specific time period.
  • International Character Set Support A vast range of diacritical character sets is supported, allowing the RightFAX Enterprise Server solution to be deployed in your global offices in Europe, eastern Asia, South America and Africa.
  • Fax Authorization System Provides a method for management review of critical or sensitive faxes prior to their release. Faxes can be sent to a group’s administrator’s queue for approval. Reasons for approval or revision can be entered or stored within the fax file.
  • RightFAX Reporter A timesaving tool that helps you measure your fax server resources to make sure they are being used efficiently. Even when you delete the fax, the transmission information is retained for reporting purposes.
  • Broadcast: This feature is supported from the RightFAX desktop client. Each recipient has a unique cover page with only his name addressed. RightFAX renders the attachment once so that broadcast faxes queue up quickly.
  • RightFax Screen Shot

The following modules are also available:

  • RightFax Gateway for Microsoft Exchange: Users have one centralized place to send, receive and manage faxes and emails through their Outlook email inbox, with seamless integration. RightFax 8.0 leverages Active Directory (AD) and provides robust synchronization capabilities. Fully customizable RightFax field mappings, by using the RightFax snap-in for Microsoft Management Console (MMC), allow administrators to perform all user maintenance from Windows.
  • RightFax Gateway for Lotus Notes: You can make sending and receiving fax documents as simple for users as using Notes mail. Advanced fax functionality is available to expand and simplify the process of sending faxes via Notes, all without modifications to the Notes mail template. Giving users tools to work within their familiar Notes environment reduces training time and streamlines communications processes. For the Notes administrator, native Notes installation and database synchronization between Lotus Notes/Domino and RightFax allows unified administration of both servers, saving time and resources
  • RightFax Web Client: The web client lets users manage their fax mailboxes through all popular Web browsers, including Netscape Navigator, Microsoft Internet Explorer or any HTML 3.0 (and above) compliant browser. Users can send, receive, forward, route, delete and print faxes, attach files and perform other functions—all via the Web.
  • RightFax PDF Module: You can take advantage of the universal PDF format by interpreting PDF documents and converting them to fax format perfectly every time. Because PDF files can be generated from virtually any application, there is no limit on the type of faxes that can be sent from RightFax with this module.
  • RightFax OCR Converter: Optical Character Recognition technology scans faxes for recognizable characters and converts them into editable document files that users can import into any application. Users can then work with the document, just as they would with a native application file. Advanced features like auto-flip and de-skew help to ensure accurate conversion every time
  • RightFax OCR Router: Optical Character Recognition technology scans the first page of an inbound fax for recognizable strings, matches it to a corresponding routing table, and then delivers it to the appropriate mailbox. This module is designed to offer small divisions or departments (50 or fewer employees) a reliable inbound routing alternative that can be less expensive than purchasing individual DID numbers, easier to use than assigning DTMF extensions and less labor-intensive than manual routing.
  • RightFax TeleConnect Module: RightFAX users can access faxes from any touch-tone phone. Users can select specific faxes for retrieval or have all their documents sent to them. They can even forward their faxes to another network user - or to any fax number in the world.
  • RightFax Docs-on-Demand Module: This web-based or phone retrieval system lets you publish a document to your Web site or fax-on-demand system from a single library file. Users can then access these documents at any time.
