Description:
In this course, the student will become familiar with all aspects of Project
Management Fundamentals.
Course Objective:
By the conclusion of this 1-day workshop, students will be able to:
-Perform
a project needs assessment and write goals, requirements, and deliverables
-Create key project documents, including the Project Charter, Statement of
Work, and ---Project Requirements Document
-Understand and use the Work Breakdown Structure
-Build a project schedule by estimating time, costs, and resources
-Create project planning documents
-Use planning tools, including the Gantt Chart, Network Diagram, and RACI chart
-Create and use a Communication Plan, RACI Chart, and Risk Management Plan
-Monitor and maintain the project
-Perform basic management tasks, including leading status meetings and ensuring
all documents are complete at the end of the project
-Close out a project

This course is designed for anyone who is interested in project management.

None required.
